Saint Hilda’s Festival Chorus is a mixed choir of some 50 singers.

We welcome new singers in all parts – soprano, alto, tenor and bass. If you or your friends would like to join either the Chorus or Orchestra, you would be very welcome. Please use the Contact form on the Home page or see the Contact us section for more details.

All rehearsals take place on a Sunday and, except where indicated, are from 14:30-16:30 in St. Hilda’s Church, Whitby. See the rehearsal schedule for dates.

Research at The Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg has suggested that being in a choir can be as beneficial as yoga in lowering blood pressure & improving well being. So joining us may give health benefits too!
